At Apricity, sustainable cashmere begins on the grasslands of Mongolia, where generations of herders care for their animals and the land in equal measure. By carefully balancing the ratio of goats to sheep, these communities help prevent overgrazing and protect fragile ecosystems from long-term degradation.

Our cashmere is sourced from certified responsible herders who follow the Responsible Nomad international standard—ensuring high standards in animal welfare, pasture management, and community impact. Through the Raw Material Traceability System (RMTS), every step—from herder to finished garment—is tracked for full transparency.

The result is not only a healthier environment, but a superior cashmere: softer, stronger, and more enduring than anywhere else in the world.
